Fire Extinguishers
As well as offering our customers serving on the premises fire alarm systems, we are also able to install, maintain and commission portable fire extinguishers throughout the East-West Sussex and Surrey borders.
The majority of our Fire Alarm engineers are fully qualified in both BS5839 (fire alarm requirements) and in BS5036 (fire extinguisher requirements) thereby allowing us to offer a convenient package to the customer where we can arrange to carry out multiple services whilst on site, resulting in savings to the client.
This has lead us to save our clients vast sums in comparison to other companies and this will continue, as our pledge has always been; to be transparent in our pricing, not to operate commissioned based selling or have targets for engineers to meet as we believe these tactics lead to mis-selling in the market!

Southern Alarm Systems hold the Measured Term Contract for the Day to Day, Responsive and term maintenance work covering fire fighting equipment for East Sussex County Council, we are also the main contractors to several charity organisations and care homes.
Our pricing structure is simple; we charge fixed costs to include the standard parts that are required to complete the basic service as outlined in the BS5306 part 3 standards. A comprehensive stock level of all types of extinguishers are held in our stores along with a complete range of photoluminescent signage.
