The market place has seen many changes in fire legislation, none more so than the introduction of the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005 (the RRFSO) which officially came in to force in October 2006. This order replaced about seventy pieces of fire safety legislation, the principle ones being the Fire Precautions Act of 1961 and the Fire Precautions Workplace regulations 1997-1999, all which have been updated and rolled into the RRFSO 2005!
Ultimately this has shifted the responsibility to the owner or responsible person to have a method of ensuring that companies who carry out work on your behalf have all the requisite skills needed to ensure the equipment and systems work at that critical moment when they are required most.
There is a multitude of different systems in the workplace, we are familiar with most, whether it is conventional, analogue addressable, radio or a hybrid system we are able to offer a solution or tailor a system to meet your requirements. With our intelligent systems we use equipment that is classed as open protocol (in the main - Apollo) allowing the customer greater flexibility through panel selection or third party interfacing.

Radio - Apollo Xpander
| The Xpander devices are Apollo protocol and can be added to enhance an existing addressable system where it would be impractical to run cables. The devices communicate with the XP95 loop by generating radio signals that report back to the interface unit which is connected to the loop via an I/O unit. Up to 5 interfaces can be added per site with each interface being able to manage 31 devices. Each device incorporates the XPERT card (or biscuit) Link to download Apollo Xpander Datasheet . . . .
